A Few words about us

Mount Carmel Convent School, Katol is an English Medium School founded on 1st June 1996. It is run by the Carmelodaya CMC Educational Society. Since then it was preparing students for the Secondary School Certificate of the Maharashtra Board of Education. But as per the decision of Carmelodaya CMC Educational Society, the syllabus of CBSE is introduced in the year 2009-2010. In the year 2012 the school is affiliated to CBSE, Delhi, with Affiliation No. 1130380.

The school is opened to all children irrespective of caste, creed and religion. We expect that the parents and students will make sincere efforts to make the best of the opportunities offered.

Mission

Mount Carmel School Katol, while keeping the high standard in education by enjoying learning experience moulds the character and personality of the students. Enkindle in them the higher values of life such as love, peace, justice, patriotism, generosity, service-mindedness and love towards hard work to make them conscious of their role in the building up of the society, to train them accomplish their responsibilities as an enlightened human being.

CMC Education Policy

Education in not just a profession but a sacred call, a great apostolate through which we participate in the teaching mission of the church. Our aim is the total formation of the human person As much for her/his own enrichment as for the service of the society and the nation in the spirit of Christ.

Devoted Staff

Dutifulness calls for faithfulness and commitment to duty. Mount Carmel has devoted and dedicated group of 56 teaching and non teaching staff who are tirelessly working for the betterment of the institution. After the school hour, our staff spend one more hour for the preparation of classes ,for the correction of student’s assignments etc.

Value Education

Value education is given more importance in our teaching learning system . To make the class more interesting and attractive we take time to show the life stories of different saints and great leaders through smart class. Students practice a particular value through out a month, display thoughts, poems , stories, pictures etc. based on that particular value on the Notice Board. Similarly they give value based message through skit once a month.
